MENDOZA - Uruguay held out for an hour before caving in to a powerful Argentina performance. The 2014 World Cup qualifier at Menzoza's Estadio Malvinas Argentinas was settled by a Messi double (65 and 79) either side of Aguero's strike (75): 3-0 the final score.
Walter Gargano played the full 90 minutes while Alvaro Pereira did not feature.
