A boy, who was born three months prematurely, with four heart problems that seriously threaten life, is living proof that doctors who suggested letting parents die in a natural way, were completely wrong.
Alfi McAusland was born three months prematurely with the main arteries in the wrong places, with a big hole in the heart, with a narrow valve and blood vessel length - announces Start.
His parents, Natalie and Christopher, from Tullibody Alloa, Scotland, was told by doctors that there was no hope of survival. So that the child does not suffer, they were advised to leave to die naturally. But Mrs. McAusland says instinct said that Alfie was a "fighter" and flatly refused to give up his son.
Now, after having spent weeks on the ventilator, and only 10 months after surgery 15.5 hours in the heart, Alfie is like all the other 18-month-old infants, and strongly wants to play with his twin brother, Blair.
